UPSE EPFO Exam Pattern
The UPSC EPFO Exam consists of two stages. In the initial stage, candidates will face Objective type questions, while the subsequent stage includes a personal interview.
Recruitment Test (RT): This section carries a total of 300 marks, accounting for 75% of the overall weightage.
Interview: The interview phase is worth 100 marks, contributing 25% to the final assessment.

Selected candidates get handsome salary. The Payscale for EPFO Officers is at Level 8 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC, with a salary range of Rs 43,600 to Rs 55,200. This corresponds to a Payscale of Rs 9300-34800. Additionally, UPSC provides various allowances and benefits to selected candidates.

Applicants are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in any field. Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:

- A minimum of two years of experience in Administration, Accounts, or Legal Matters, either in a government or private organization .
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- An Integrated Five-Year Law Degree.
- A Master's in Business Administration.
- A Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
- Qualification as a Company Secretary.
- Chartered Accountancy certification.
- Cost and Management Accountancy certification.
