Educational Qualification for UPSC Specialist Grade III and Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024
1. Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University/ Institute OR Bachelor of Engineeringor Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical engineering/ Metallurgy from arecognized University/ Institute.

(i) Candidates must have a recognized MBBS degree qualification listed in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule, excluding licentiate qualifications, under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). If your educational qualifications are included in Part II of the Third Schedule, you must also meet the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
(ii) Additionally, Candidates need a post-graduate degree in the relevant specialty or super-specialty mentioned in Section-A of Schedule VI from a recognized Teaching Institute. For example, Doctorate of Medicine (Nephrology) or Diplomate National Board (Nephrology).
